Baz Luhrmann in 1997 told us to “Wear sunscreen.” He said “If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. “

What has hindsight taught you about your life? What decision do you wish you had made yesterday so you would know the answer today? Mine for yesterday was to literally wear more sunscreen!

How do you use hindsight in your life? The phrase hindsight in 20/20 vision is often thrown out there as though there is some kind of powerful wisdom into what has actually occurred. But of course, there is wisdom in hindsight, because it is what we did or experienced. If we were to step away from the literal for a moment and step into the helicopter view of our world, hindsight gives us the ability to usefully explore not what happened but how we experienced it, how we reacted and how we made our decisions.

How do you use your wisdom of the past the shape your future?
